
Navigating the Path to Medical School 2025/2026
An opportunity to receive advice and guidance on applying for medicine in 2025/2026. The session will be run online by qualified doctors and current medical school students. We will cover all aspects of the application, including what to expect at the interview, guidance on work experience and advice on personal statements.

Dr Emily Hall
Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust
Dr Emily Hall graduated from Imperial College London in 2023 and is currently working as a Resident Doctor within the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
Alongside her medical career, she is a qualified gymnastics coach and a keen dancer, having balanced these interests throughout her studies. Her unique combination of academic achievement and diverse extracurricular involvement offers valuable insight into how applicants can present a well-rounded profile in medical school applications.

Antonio Nash
Kings College London
Antonio is a fourth-year MBBS Medicine student at King's College London and graduated from Imperial College London with a BSc in Medical Biosciences. Antonio is an alumnus of the Seren Network and studied for his A-levels at College Gwent in South Wales. Alongside his studies, Antonio is interested in Paediatrics, Public Health and Science Communication.

Rachel Hopkins
Imperial College London
Rachel is a first-year medical student at Imperial College London with over four years of experience tutoring and mentoring students from Years 7 to 13. Rachel tutors a range of subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. Her approach is all about helping students overcome their individual challenges, build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Whether it’s boosting grades or preparing for exams, she provides personalised support every step of the way.

Dr Korede Salami
King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Dr Korede Salami graduated from Imperial College London in 2023 and is currently a Resident Doctor at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Her interests include radiology, acute medicine, and diversity and inclusion within medicine.
Korede was a member of ICSM Vision—a society that aims to widen participation in medicine—from 2018 to 2022 and was co-president of the society in 2021/22. She has assisted hundreds of students with their medical school applications by organising events and personally providing both individual and group mentoring.
